Frequently Asked Questions
01. How long will you be filming on the wedding day?
I will be with you from the beginning of your wedding day, starting with the preparations such as makeup and hairdressing. I stay with you until the end of the cocktail hour, or if you want me to stay until the end of the wedding, you have the option to add on the party package.
02. Do I receive all raw footage you shot?
Creating and editing cinematographic films requires a significant amount of experience and expertise. Raw camera footage often has very muted colors and is made up of very large files. Without the proper knowledge and skills in editing and color grading, it is not possible to use this footage. That is why I do not usually include raw footage in my packages. However, if you still want access to it, It is available to you as an optional add-on.
03. What happens if weather conditions do not allow to fly drone?
Drone footage is captured in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, and is also dependent on weather conditions. I usually arrive at the wedding venue the day before the event and depart the day after. I have always been able to fly the drone at every wedding I have filmed, but if it is not possible to operate the drone due to rain or strong winds, the drone option will be fully refunded.
04. Do I need a second cameraman ?
For approximately 80% of the weddings I film, I work as a solo videographer, and it work out perfectly.
However, there are certain challenges that come with working alone. For instance, I am unable to capture footage in multiple locations simultaneously or film with a drone while also taking ground shots. In these cases, it can be useful to have a second videographer on hand to film events happening concurrently at different locations. This can also provide the option to get different angles of the same scene at the same time, which can be especially valuable for larger weddings with many guests.
04. Do you provide a photography service?
This is the story of my life: my mom still thinks I’m a photographer. Of course, I’m not, and my work as a videographer is quite different from photography. However, throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting many talented photographers whom I would be happy to recommend to you.
